Chen Jiu

Born in 1957.
He began to create literary pieces in 1978.He published literay works on literary publications this year,and the novel New Willow awarded the Navy Writing Special Award.
He began to create art pieces in 1980.He attended a various of art exhibitions in the navy successively .
In 1985, he made an advanced study in Chinese Language and Literature in Shanghai.
In 1987,he started to learn oil painting in Shanghai Theatrical College.

In 1989,he attended the first and second exhibition of X﹒S Modern Art Work in DuoYunXuan Art House in Shanghai
In 1991, he attended the Youth Art Exibition in Shanghai,and the artwork Spirit of the Plum won the creativity award of the second session of the Shanghai Youth Art Award Exhibition
In 1992, he held solo exihibition of Chenjiu’s Painting and Calligraphy in Shanghai
In 1993,he attended the Shanghai-Tokyo Artworks Roving Exihibition

In 1997,the artworks exhibited in the first session of Shanghai Art Expo were collected by the academies and art institutions in France、Germany、Japan、the United States and Canada
Now he is the artistic director of ZhuQizhan Museum of Art and Shanghai DuoLun Modern Museum of Art
