Jiang Baolin

The original home is Pingdu in Shandong.He was born in Penglai in 1942.He Graduated from Zhejiang Art Academy.Once he apprenticed with GuKunbo、LuYanshao、LuWeizhao.He passed into the landscape seminary in Central Institute of Fine Arts,and was the graduate student of LiKeran.Now,he is a member of the Art Council in Zhejiang Painting Studio,an artist at the national level,the dean of Hangzhou Painting Studio,the chair doctoral tutor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Tsinghua University and of Chinese Art Insititution.Jiangbaolin Art Studio was established by Chinese Painting Institution in 2004.He enjoys special allowance of the State Council.He is good at the landscape painting and freehand drawing of flowers,and he is the creater of the baimiao modern landscape.He does not insist on the traditional ink painting but the modern elements in it as well.The art ideas he pursues are distinctive ethnic characteristics、a strong modern sense of beauty、the unique personality and language unity.It has graduall y formed the magnificent、multiple and distincitive style.

Achievements
Solo exihibition was once taken place in Beijing、taipei、HongKong、Kaohsiung、Bonn、Paris、Seoul、Fairmont(the U.S.)、Hangzhou、Jinan、Yantai、Qingdao and so on.
Awarded the big prize-Archduck Government Award,in Monte Carlo Grand Prix World Modern Painting in 1992.
Awarded the First Prize in U.S. Fairment international art centre-Perelman Foundation art in 1999.
Awarded the Silver Prize in the Nineth National Art Exhibition.
Worked as the judge of the Tenth National Art Exhibition.
The artworks are collected by individuals and such institutions as Beijing Great Hall of the People, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Qin Zhengdian Zhongnanhai, the State Council, China Art Gallery, Chinese Painting Research Institute, the Central
Academy of Fine Arts, the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, the Museum of Tianjin, Jiangsu Museum, Seoul Asian Art Museum, the Hong Kong Museum and so on.
